First launched by Women in Mining UK (WIM UK) in 2013, the biennial “100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining” (WIM100) publication highlights the female talent within the global mining sector, celebrates their extensive contributions to this industry, and identifies role models for future generations.
At the end of 2022, WIM Mongolia's Chairwoman N.Tumenbayar was nominated for WIM 100. She is the second person from Mongolia to get this nomination, the first being Mrs.Oyun, also our Board member who got her nomination back in 2014.
This recognition was such a wonderful end of year of 2002 and start of 2023 !! WIM Mongolia is encouraged to do so much more for advancing the women participation in Mongolia’s extractive industry.
